The British Museum: Defining Beauty
The third exhibition in the British Museum's World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre. Factory Settings were Principal Contractor for this temporary exhibition designed by Caruso St John.
Using traditional craft based techniques alongside engineered structural solutions, the dark walnut display tables and plinths brilliantly offset the stark objects on display, whilst the six metre high curtains provide a contemporary backdrop.
Factory Settings provided bespoke solutions for displaying some of the world's most iconic sculptures. Engineered to support the weight of marble and bronze statues and friezes up to 1.5T.
