V&A: Food- Bigger than the Plate
Factory Settings were appointed to deliver the Food exhibition at the V&A with a minimal design development period. This meant that we had to identify the necessary development areas at the start up meeting and produce a robust strategy to allow prototyping in parallel with producing construction drawings for comment. Construction elements included a large stained lattice timber structure to house exhibits and showcases, a rubber floor in light grey, a working hermetically sealed, climate-controlled mushroom growing area, and walls and showcases built from plastic packing crates.
